Proudly present....

My son (13 years old at the moment) has taken 1-hour piano lesson each week from autumn to spring (obviously every activity is paused in summer months) for 2 years already. At the end of May, the school organized a Rock Concert where my son took part in the second part of the all-time greatest song "Bohemian Rhapsody" (1975 by Queen). He was so eager to perform it. He has been listening to some Queen's songs the summer before (when we were on holiday at Bangkok). It was like a gift for him the fact that he had been assigned to play this song, the last song to close the concert that night. Unfortunately his dad had to miss the opportunity to see him playing in the band on live show, and had to watch the vdo clip made by my smart phone. Better than nothing!

At first, I didn't want to share this vdo clip for some reason but some months later I just thought..why not?? It's absolutely correct to publish the vdo. When a parent feel so proud of his/her own kid, there's nothing weird to tell others.

Well, I trimmed the 5-minute vdo into a very short one (as allowed on the website). My boy was playing the electronic keyboard. He did well in the show and we're proud of him :)

Learning Italian hand gestures

I talked to a friend of mine about learning Italian language and people's habit, then a video clip I've watched some time ago came to my mind. It's a funny one but I admit that at the beginning when I transferred to Italy, I found their way of conducting hand gestures while speaking a bit ridiculous. However, I think it's useful knowing what the gestures mean. Each nation has its own customs!

Phuket - one of the places I've loved

Despite the gigantic disaster from tsunami on December 26, 2004, Phuket has recovered and returned to be heaven on earth again. This place restores me a quite valuable memory of my youth.

The coldest summer

This's the sky in July. This summer must be the coldest and rainiest one in my memory since I've lived in Italy (since 1999). Last winter was the warmest one in my memory though. If autumn turns out to be sunny, then we'll have such a good year end. Yet why these are all happening??

I just drop by to say hello and keep my blog alive! So sorry not to update it more often. I'm working too slowly on my writing project too. I sometimes wish I could stop the world for a moment!

My news...after a long absence!

Hi everybody!

I'm sorry that I've left this blog for so long. Actually I've been working (more or loss) on my writing project. If I'll have some luck, I will be able to realize my dream...that is launching my own book in Thailand! I know it'll be hard and I'm only half-way on it but at least I'm trying.

This doesn't want to be a good-bye note, but I really don't know when to get back again.

Wishing you all readers every day a splendid day!

With love,
Mee
